About Channel 3

Channel 3 is a boutique transformation and digital enablement consultancy, working across multiple public industry sectors within the UK.

We believe a better future is possible today, through the power of digitally-enabled transformation. And no more so than in the health and care sectors, where the models of care need to transform to deliver on the expectations of citizens and policymakers, with a greater focus on providing proactive and preventative care, closer to home. We are excited by the possibilities that digital can bring and are committed to increasing the impact of our work across the health and care sectors.

This is an incredibly exciting time for us at Channel 3 as we seek to scale our impact and reach as a business and there is no doubt that our continued success will be underpinned by the exceptional talent and passion of our people.

We work hard to create an environment where everyone feels supported to learn, develop and have fun! We care deeply about making a difference and building a team of people who are passionate about driving meaningful change. We offer colleagues the freedom to play an active role in their own personal development and the opportunity to help shape our wider business and how we deliver our work.

The role

To help achieve this vision, we are looking to further strengthen our team with an experienced Principal Consultant who brings both a track record of working with healthcare organisations to define, design and implement digital solutions that enable performance improvement and transformation in healthcare service delivery, as well as experience of leading delivery teams and building follow on work through delivery excellence.

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a strong track record in shaping and delivering technology‑enabled change programmes within the NHS, whether working with national bodies, ICSs, or provider organisations.

You will bring a deep understanding of the end‑to‑end programme lifecycle for Electronic Patient Record deployments, covering business case development, procurement, solution design, implementation, optimisation and structured change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR).

We are especially interested in individuals with hands‑on experience or specialist expertise in one or more EPR‑adjacent domains, including:

  • Patient Engagement Platforms & Portals
  • Screening and Diagnostics Workflows
  • Capacity & Demand Management Tools
  • Theatre Productivity and Scheduling Solutions
  • Shared Care Record Systems (ShCR)
  • Pathway Information Management & Flow Tools
  • Clinical AI / Decision Support and Automation Tooling

We are looking for a Principal Consultant that can demonstrate an ability to translate clinical and operational needs into scalable digital solutions, and who understand the realities of delivering complex change in frontline NHS environments, who will thrive in this role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
