Role Description
The Principal Consultant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Worcester, with the flexibility to work from home for most of the week.
GMP Worldwide works with some of the biggest names in the Accountancy and Finance sectors and as part of our commitment to grow further in this sector we are looking for an experienced Principal Consultant to join our team.
This position leads end-to-end recruitment delivery, including client engagement, vacancy qualification, candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination. The Principal Consultant manages key client accounts, develops new business opportunities, and advises clients on market trends and workforce strategies. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining talent pipelines, using digital tools and job boards, preparing candidate shortlists, and ensuring a high-quality experience for both clients and candidates. The role also involves contributing to best practices, and supporting continuous improvement across the recruitment function.

Qualifications
- Strong experience in recruitment consultancy within the Accountancy and Finance sectors, including full-cycle delivery and client relationship management
- Demonstrated ability to source and assess candidates using various channels such as job boards, professional networks, and direct outreach.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, and standard office software for reporting and data management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions at senior levels.
- Proven track record in business development, account growth, and creating tailored workforce solutions for diverse clients.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively.
