Principal Consultant – Process Excellence and Analysis
Salary: £70,000–£100,000 + industry-leading bonus
Location / Working Model: UK | Hybrid
Our client is a growing boutique transformation consultancy helping leading organisations turn ambitious transformation strategies into measurable business outcomes. With a strong focus on Data, AI and operational excellence, you’ll work alongside experienced transformation specialists and engage with stakeholders from subject-matter experts through to C-Suite level. You’ll have genuine ownership from the outset, supported by a collaborative culture that values delivery, development and respect.

The Principal Consultant
The Principal Consultant will lead transformation initiatives from discovery through implementation and adoption, combining process excellence, data-led analysis, automation and AI-enabled approaches to improve performance across financial services.

Role Highlights
- Lead operational improvement, automation and AI-enabled transformation opportunities across complex organisations.
- Use data-driven diagnostics and process intelligence to identify waste, rework and productivity opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders to define requirements and create actionable delivery plans.
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks that demonstrate measurable benefits and business value.
- Contribute to the development of innovative Operational Excellence propositions, methodologies and tools.
You Will Need
- At least 7 years’ professional experience across consulting and financial services
- Experience across Wealth, Asset Management, Investment or Insurance environments.
- Strong process mapping capability, including methodologies such as SIPOC or BPMN.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into structured requirements and deliverable stories.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills across senior audiences.
