Principal Core Infrastructure Engineer
Senior Subject Matter Expert – Distributed Systems Architecture
Drives development and initiates the design of scalable, elastic distributed systems. Ensures scalability standards are defined and enforced for all owned components, optimizing code and data pathways for high-throughput, hyper-scale performance. Utilizes data plane platforms to enhance large-scale retrieval, storage, and processing.
Designs resilient, in-service-upgradable architectures featuring redundancy, replication, failover, and partition policies. Implements load shedding, throttling, and rate-limiting to handle network instability while maintaining Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and telemetry, developing proactive dashboards and alerts. Creates complex validation frameworks (fault injection, brownout testing, replication, and synchronization) to guarantee correctness and data durability. Proactively diagnoses and resolves production incidents, mentors cross-functional teams, and ensures operational readiness.
