Overview

Atlassians have flexibility in where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, as part of being a distributed-first company.

For this role and our business requirements, we welcome applicants from all regions of the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Customer Success Manager, Public Sector, you’ll partner with strategic UK & Ireland public sector organisations to realise the full value of their Atlassian investments. Serving as a trusted advisor, you’ll guide customers through complex digital transformations, cloud migrations, and modern ways of working across our solution portfolio’s.

Your future team

Our team is dedicated to long-term customer value realisation and partnership rather than direct quota carrying. We collaborate closely to support our public sector customers to unleash their full potential through cloud migration, digital transformation, and modern AI-powered solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Build Strategic Trusted Advisor Relationships: Partner with senior civil servants, IT leaders, and transformation directors across UK & Ireland Public Sector accounts (including Central/Local Government, NHS, Higher Education, and national bodies) to align Atlassian solutions with their strategic digital mandates.
  • Champion Cloud Migration & Digital Transformation: Guide public sector customers through major transformation initiatives with a primary focus on cloud migration scenarios, helping organisations transition seamlessly from legacy/on-premise deployments to Atlassian Cloud. Enable customers to harness our AI capabilities and the Teamwork Graph to unify cross-agency knowledge, automate workflows, and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Drive Value Realisation & Success Planning: Formulate and execute comprehensive Customer Success Plans and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs/QBRs), ensuring measurable ROI, high user adoption, and long-term customer health across complex public sector bodies.
  • Navigate Public Sector Procurement & Ways of Working: Leverage your understanding of government governance, data/security standards, and public sector procurement rhythms and frameworks to overcome adoption blockers and accelerate deployment timelines.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with Enterprise Sales, Solutions Engineering, Cloud Migration specialists, Product teams, and Atlassian Solution Partners to advocate for public sector requirements and ensure smooth customer lifecycle delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
