Job Title: TCU Data Functional Analyst
Location: Remote
Hourly rate: £75.00 per hour
Contract: 1/10/26 to 31/3/27
Hours: 37 hours per week
GI Group are recruiting for a TCU Data Functional Analyst for our defence contractor client. This is a contract role focused on developing and deploying high-quality reporting solutions across PLM platforms (e.g. Teamcenter, Enovia) and third-party reporting tools (e.g. TcRA/TCRA). You’ll work within an established PLM product team, supported by Data & Analytics, to deliver accurate, user-friendly reports that help stakeholders make informed decisions.
The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to Edinburgh, Basildon, Luton, or Southampton.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to understand, document, and refine reporting requirements.
- Produce wireframes and translate business needs into clear reporting outputs.
- Identify required data sources and define the best approach for report delivery.
- Perform data transformation and analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Build reports/dashboards in TCRA and native Teamcenter reporting.
- Define and execute testing to ensure reports are accurate, complete, and usable.
- Capture continuous improvement ideas and support prioritization into the backlog.
- Collaborate with the wider PLM team and vendor representatives to resolve issues and support delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in data analysis, PLM administration, or a related area.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.
- Experience in data modelling, governance, and master data management.
- Proven ability translating user requirements into reports and dashboards.
- Comfortable working remotely, including screen sharing for troubleshooting.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong stakeholder engagement.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Proven experience developing reports within Teamcenter Reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Teamcenter Reporting & Analytics (TCRA).
- Knowledge of product structures, engineering change, and configuration management.
- Understanding of integrations such as PLM / ERP / MES.
