Principal Data Analyst | Fintech Remote-first (UK)
We've partnered with a UK based multinational client who build the platform behind a fast-growing international buy-now-pay-later and point-of-sale credit product, used by thousands of merchants across Europe. They're backed by a major European banking group, so you get a start-up's pace and autonomy without the start-up risk.
Day to Day
- You'll work directly with the Head of Data, and between you you'll own the company's data end to end
- Build datasets and reporting jobs in SQL and Python, using Airflow for ETL
- Produce reports for household-name global tech partners, plus critical internal financial reporting
- Optimise ETL and have real say over the tools you use
- This isn't data science. The challenge is complex, high-volume financial data where accuracy really matters

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
