Competitive Basic + Tax-Free EOT Bonus + Profit Share + Great Benefits

Looking to step into a key building safety role with a leading, employee-owned consultancy?

My client is growing our Building Safety team and looking for an ambitious, knowledgeable Building Regulations Principal Designer (BR PD) to help lead regulatory compliance across the UK.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Technical Guidance: Provide clear, outcome-focused advice on Building Regulations to keep projects compliant and avoid costly design changes.
  • Gateway Submissions: Support BSR Gateway 1–3 applications with accurate, auditable documentation.
  • Risk & Compliance: Manage design-stage risks, assess duty-holder competence, and maintain the Golden Thread of information.
  • Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate their Building Safety Act duties (with support from our Technical Leads on complex builds).
  • Growth & Mentorship: Help with fee proposals, promote our safety services, and mentor the wider team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
