BR Principal Designer
Rhythm Careers is seeking a BR Principal Designer to join the team of a successful London architectural practice.
We are looking for an architecturally qualified Building Regulations principal designer to join the practice, supporting the architectural team members with safety, design, and regulatory advice across their ongoing project portfolio, with a significant emphasis on achieving successful Gateway 2 and Gateway 3 approvals.
This is a role that would suit a technically orientated Architect willing to learn or someone already performing this role with another UK architectural practice, as full training can be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as, or support the organisation in fulfilling the role of, building regulations principal designer under the Building Regulations.
- Plan, manage, and monitor design work to ensure that projects are designed in accordance with relevant Building Regulations requirements.
- Coordinate design work carried out by different designers and ensure appropriate cooperation between dutyholders.
- Review design information and provide advice on Building Regulations compliance.
