About the Role
We are now seeking to strengthen our Ecology & Hydrology team with a Principal Ecologist. We have an excellent opportunity for a Principal Ecologist to join our Ecology & Hydrology team, which sits within our Consenting & Environment Department. The team are based at various locations in the UK working on an exciting and diverse workload, delivering high quality support for renewable energy projects at all phases across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
For this role, technical knowledge of habitats, habitat management, and ECoW/EnvCoW is essential. Experience of working on complex renewable projects is also essential with experience of DCO beneficial. The role will involve:
- Management of several complex projects;
- Client and stakeholder liaison;
- Writing and reviewing EIAs, HRAs, and biodiversity enhancement plans/HMPs;
- Business development;
- Staff training/line management.

Job Details
This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This position allows for hybrid working with office time based from one of our offices in either Inverness, Glasgow, Stirling, or Horsley.
