Principal Electrical Engineer

Location: Newcastle, Hybrid Working

Introduction

Looking for the next step in your engineering career? Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer? You'll lead engineering projects from design through to delivery, support colleagues when needed, and bring confidence and expertise to client interactions.

Essential Skills

  • Degree or diploma in an engineering discipline (BSc/BEng or HND/HNC).
  • Significant experience delivering complex MEP design projects across a range of building types.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, regulations, and industry best practice.
  • Experience using engineering design software such as Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to successful project delivery.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, schedules, and change control processes.
  • You may be a Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartership.
