Principal Electrical Engineer (Contract) Wood Reading Green Park Office – Full-time contract


About the Role

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead electrical power system studies and play a pivotal role in the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems across:

  • Pre-FEED (Conceptual)
  • FEED (Front End Engineering & Design)
  • EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction)

within the energy sector, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes. Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams will be core to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and deliver high-quality electrical design packages for FEED and EPC projects, leveraging your expertise in Oil & Gas.
  • Conduct detailed power system studies using ETAP (or similar) tools, with deep system and digital control knowledge.
  • Partner closely with teams to address technical challenges in high-complexity projects.
  • Middle East project experience—especially with Saudi Aramco—highly desirable.
