Principal Electronics Engineer
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Principal Electronics Engineer required for an innovative technology company developing advanced sensing and instrumentation products. This Principal Electronics Engineer role will focus on the architecture, design, and delivery of complex electronic systems. The Principal Electronics Engineer will play a key role in defining future products whilst providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

- Lead the design and development of analogue, digital, and mixed-signal electronic systems
- Define hardware architectures and technical roadmaps for new product development
- Take products from concept through to production and manufacturing support
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams
- Work closely with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineers
- Support testing, validation, EMC compliance, and product qualification activities
Requirements

- Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong experience in analogue and digital electronic design
- Experience of full product lifecycle development from concept to production
- Knowledge of PCB design, embedded systems, and hardware integration
- Ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
