Principal Emissions Engineer
As sustainability expectations continue to evolve, emissions performance has become a critical consideration across large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects. As a Principal Emissions Engineer at Black & White Engineering, you will help clients understand, manage and reduce emissions impacts while supporting sustainable engineering outcomes.
This is a senior technical leadership role requiring deep expertise, strong analytical capability and the ability to influence both design decisions and project strategy. You'll play a key role in guiding engineering teams and clients through increasingly complex environmental challenges.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead emissions assessments and environmental performance evaluations.
- Provide technical guidance on emissions reduction strategies.
- Review designs and identify opportunities for environmental optimisation.
- Engage with project stakeholders and client teams.
- Produce technical reports and recommendations.
- Support development of best-practice methodologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and consultants.
Essential Skills
- Strong expertise in emissions assessment and environmental engineering.
- Experience leading technical studies and providing engineering guidance.
- Ability to interpret complex technical and environmental data.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven capability delivering technical leadership on complex projects.
