About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished engineer with broad experience across flood risk and sustainable drainage in the development sector who can lead the technical delivery of projects across our portfolio of clients, whilst demonstrating best practice solutions and mentoring the wider team. This role also offers the opportunity for an ambitious individual to help grow Rappor’s Water Environment offering in your region.

Your Work Will Include
- Advising clients on projects from feasibility stage through the planning application process.
- Preparing and leading technical outputs such as Flood Risk Assessments and Sustainable Drainage Statements, drawing on support from senior colleagues and Directors as necessary.
- Drainage network modelling and CAD design.
- Day-to-day management of projects, with support from senior colleagues and Directors.
- Mentor junior colleagues.
- Liaise with stakeholders, external project team members and clients.
- Represent the company at meetings, public consultations and exhibitions.
- Undertake site visits.
- Actively carry out business development for Rappor

Our Requirements
- Experience in working on developments within a range of sectors including residential, commercial and education.
- Competent user of Causeway Flow (preferred) or MicroDrainage.
- Experience in undertaking 3D modelling using AutoCAD Civil 3D or comparable software.
- Sound understanding of relevant national planning policy across flood risk and sustainable drainage.
- Understanding and experience in working on strategic development sites.
- Knowledge and experience in liaising with stakeholders.
- Full UK driving licence.
- The Right to Work in the UK indefinitely (we are unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future).
