Principal Environmental Due Diligence Consultant, Real Estate (London)

Location: London (hybrid)

Join a well-respected UK environmental consultancy and help build out its London team, advising some of the largest private equity investors in the world on global real estate portfolios.

The opportunity

Demand for environmental due diligence is growing fast, and our client is expanding its London team. As Principal Environmental Due Diligence Consultant, you will take ownership of transactional EDD projects from day one, working on high-profile real estate acquisitions, disposals and portfolio deals across the UK and Europe.

This is a rare chance to play a key role in shaping a growing team, working directly with leading private equity, investor and lender clients on complex, high-value transactions. You will also get involved across the full deal lifecycle, from pre-acquisition due diligence through to post-acquisition, with exposure to all aspects of sustainability, ESG and energy.

Key responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
