Join a Cutting-edge Semiconductor Company – London, Hybrid Working Model
This fast-growing deep-tech company is developing highly secure, high-performance semiconductor technology. The team are now looking for a Principal Firmware Engineer to take a key technical role in the development of low-level firmware for next-generation SoC products, working across the full development lifecycle from pre-silicon validation through to post-silicon bring-up.
You’ll work closely with hardware and architecture teams, taking ownership of firmware design, development and debugging while helping to shape robust, secure and maintainable embedded software.

For this Principal Firmware Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:
- Strong experience developing low-level firmware in C/C++
- Deep experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers and peripherals
- Experience developing secure embedded software, ideally including secure boot
- Some knowledge with IoT or networking stacks such as TCP/IP, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Matter or Thread is advantageous
- Ability to work closely with hardware and architecture teams on complex embedded systems
