A leading independent, award-winning multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for a Principal Geotechnical Design Engineer to join its growing team.

The Principal Geotechnical Design Engineer will join a collaborative consultancy delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across infrastructure, residential, commercial, healthcare, education and regeneration projects.

The opportunity

As Principal Geotechnical Design Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership across a varied project portfolio, managing geotechnical design and risk, contributing to ground investigations, assessments and reports, supporting project delivery, mentoring engineers and developing client relationships. You'll also have opportunities to contribute to bids and business development.

About You

The successful Principal Geotechnical Design Engineer will have a relevant degree and significant consultancy experience, with strong geotechnical design and analysis skills. Chartered status with ICE, Geological Society or equivalent is preferred. Experience with software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, WALLAP or Oasys is advantageous.
