Dixons Academies Trust is seeking an exceptional principal to lead Dixons Newall Green Academy, a growing secondary academy in Wythenshawe, Manchester. Opened in September 2023, the academy is building something special: a culture of high expectations, strong relationships, and academic excellence that will transform life chances for young people.

The role
As principal, you will provide the strategic and operational leadership needed to secure outstanding outcomes for every student. You will:
- Lead a culture of high expectations, high challenge, and high support
- Drive continuous improvement in teaching, curriculum, behavior, and attendance
- Build and develop highly professional teams
- Translate our mission into ambitious plans and measurable impact
- Champion safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing
- Work closely with trust leaders, governors, families, and the wider community to ensure the academy flourishes
Who we're looking for
You will be an experienced senior leader with a proven record of improving outcomes and leading significant school improvement. You will combine strategic thinking with exceptional execution and be someone who can create clarity, build strong teams, and inspire others to achieve more than they thought possible.
