Role details
We currently have a vacancy for a Principal Information Governance Officer (Transport) to join our Information Governance team.
As our Principal Information Governance Officer (Transport), you will play a vital role in providing specialist information governance support for major transport projects across the Combined Authority’s Transport programmes, projects and functions, ensuring the Combined Authority meets its legal obligations under the Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR, Freedom of Information Act (FOI) 2000 and Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

You will be working closely with colleagues in Transport to provide a customer-focused, high-performing and proactive information governance service, providing expert advice to officers on information management, exemptions/exceptions under FOI/EIR, understanding and applying the public interest test, and providing expert advice on data protection law.
