Principal Infrastructure Engineer | US, Remote | Competitive Salary and Equity Package

Overview

A fast-growing AI infrastructure company is building a new cloud platform for large-scale accelerated computing environments.

They are looking for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design and build of the bare-metal provisioning and infrastructure control-plane layer. You will make key architectural decisions, create repeatable automation and turn newly deployed hardware into secure, reliable, customer-ready capacity.

This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role. You will set technical direction while remaining close to the code, working across infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, security, and reliability engineering.

Why Join?

  • Shape a greenfield cloud infrastructure platform.
  • Own major architectural and build-versus-buy decisions.
  • Work with large-scale GPU and accelerated-compute environments.
  • Lead technically without moving into people management.
  • Influence how new infrastructure sites are deployed and scaled.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
