The Role
Intel 471 is looking for an experienced Principal Sales Engineer; your role is to support the sales teams in selling enterprise software solutions focusing on the Adversary & TTP’s including Malware to some of the brands across the globe. The successful candidate can be located anywhere in the UK, focusing on the EMEA geographic West-Central Europe regions
The Sales Executives will lead the customer engagement from a commercial perspective and your role will be to manage all the Technical engagement with our clients during the Pre-Sales process.
The primary goal of a Principal Sales Engineer is to formulate and lead pre-sales technical/functional support activities to prospective clients and existing customers. The Sales Engineer role will assist in driving new business from prospective and existing customer accounts within their respective assigned territory, and meeting and/or exceeding all sales quotas to achieve revenue goals. This position will organize, plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the technical pre-sales engagement for the prospect. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team with proven success. This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Director of Solution/Sales Engineering.
At Intel471, the SE team will have a solid understanding of the Threat Intelligence space, coupled with outstanding technical and communication skills will be essential for success in this role. To be successful, you must be highly motivated, hardworking, a gifted problem solver, resourceful, disciplined, and enjoy taking on new challenges. Our customers are distributed around the world, so this position will require expert delivery of technical solutions to a remote and distributed audience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a key member of the Intel471 team you will be required to possess the following:
- Strong ability to deliver intelligence-driven presentations and product demonstrations, live or remotely, as required.
- Lead proofs of concept (POC) for qualified prospects during the presale process.
- Problem solver: be consultative in your approach to identifying customer pain points and deeply understanding the customers problem first.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the technical capabilities/features of the Titan platform.
- Provide sales and technical pre-sales support to customers and prospects.
- Work in a fast-paced, occasionally high-pressure environment under minimal supervision.
- Own and manage RFI & RFP responses for assigned accounts.
- Experienced in supporting enterprise solution sales cycles
- Qualifies highly complex sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding
- Provide support to trade shows and exhibitions.
- Passionate to deliver world class customer service

- Communicate effectively and clearly to explain problems and solutions

- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers working with your Account Manager and the local partners within your territory
Education, Experience & Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in technical Pre-Sales support on enterprise software in information security.
- Solid foundational knowledge of cyber threat intelligence programs and intelligence requirements.
- Deep technical understanding of digital forensics incident response, computer forensics, SOC operations, cyber fraud, vulnerability management, malware analysis.
- Experience gained essentially within the UK, Dutch and other major markets in the Central region.
- Must be fluent in distributed and networking architectures.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intelligent and creative; thorough attention to detail.
- Disciplined and resourceful; exhibits good project planning and time management skills.
- Adaptable and humble in success.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team, yet work independently on complex problems.
- Travel up to 25% as required.

The role will report to our VP, Sales (EMEA) but will be expected to interact and work closely with other areas of the company as needed. The role is available anywhere in the UK and involves occasional travel within the United States, Europe and Asia. The role requires regular contact with our international team located in the United States, South America, Western and Eastern Europe, and Asia so a comfort working with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds is required.
