Principal Machine Learning Scientist
£135,000–£160,000 + Bonus | London / Oxford | Hybrid - 1 day per week in office
Our client is looking for a Principal Machine Learning Scientist to help shape the technical direction of sophisticated, production-scale ML systems.
This is a senior individual contributor role with significant influence over architecture, technical standards and ML strategy — while remaining hands-on.

About You
We're keen to hear from people with strong production ML experience, particularly across search, retrieval, ranking, recommendations or personalisation.
Experience with Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, cloud infrastructure and distributed ML would be valuable. Exposure to Generative AI, agentic AI or graph-based ML is a bonus, not a requirement.

The Package
£135,000–£160,000 + annual bonus, with a wider benefits package and flexible hybrid working.
Typically, you'll spend around one day per week in London or Oxford.
