Our client is a leading specialist consultancy providing strategic advisory services to investors, pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and healthcare organisations. Due to continued growth within its Investor Support practice, the firm is seeking high-performing Managers and Principals with deep experience in commercial due diligence across life sciences transactions.
This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded team advising private equity investors, growth equity funds, and strategic acquirers on some of the most complex and commercially significant healthcare and life sciences investments globally.
The Role
You will lead and deliver commercial due diligence engagements focused on pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medtech, diagnostics, healthcare services, and related sectors. Working directly with investors and senior executives, you will assess market attractiveness, competitive dynamics, commercial positioning, and growth potential to support investment decisions.

- Leading commercial due diligence projects from scoping through final recommendations
- Managing client relationships with private equity, growth equity, and strategic investors
- Developing investment theses and identifying key commercial risks and value creation opportunities
- Conducting market assessments, primary research, and competitive analyses
- Leading and mentoring consulting teams
- Presenting findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders
- Supporting business development and contributing to practice growth
Candidate Profile
We are particularly interested in candidates who possess:
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to commercial due diligence projects for life sciences transactions
- Background gained within a recognised strategy consulting firm, specialist healthcare consultancy, or investor-focused advisory practice
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech, and healthcare markets
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Experience managing clients and project teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Undergraduate degree from a leading institution; advanced scientific, medical, business, or quantitative qualifications are advantageous.
