Your Day at NTT DATA
The Principal Marketing Specialist, Client Experience Centre (CXC) Briefing Advisor supports the oversight of NTT DATA’s London CXC programme, directing and supporting the strategy, operations, and end-to-end execution of executive customer engagements as required. Reporting to the Executive, Global Head of Marketing Content and Creative Services, this role translates business objectives into compelling briefing experiences that strengthen C-suite relationships and accelerate business outcomes. This marketer is a team lead who is responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced CXC team members, holds accountability for programme performance, and ensures consistently superior client experiences across all events and engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Innovation Centre leader, to support the strategy, planning, and execution of the London Client Experience programme. The Principal Marketing Specialist, CXC Briefing Advisor, will own the full executive briefing lifecycle from discovery and programme/agenda design through on-site management and post-engagement reporting and analysis.
- Consult with the Innovation Centre leader and team, account teams and sales leadership to understand customer objectives; develop briefing strategies and executive-level meeting plans that align customer priorities with NTT DATA’s solutions and business goals.
- Lead and mentor less experienced team members; provide direction, coaching, and accountability to briefing staff and vendors; lead regular planning meetings to prepare for upcoming engagements.
- Oversee content management and presentation quality; facilitate and/or support review sessions as required depending on meeting experience with Innovation Centre team and provide light presenter coaching on messaging, timing, and audience engagement to ensure executive-level delivery standards.
- Partner with the Marketing Events Team to support company-sponsored executive events and customer engagements. This may include logistics support, catering, facilities coordination, and local hospitality planning and enablement to ensure a world-class visitor experience.
- Manage the briefing management system; maintain scheduling policies, processes, and procedures aligned with the programme’s strategic objectives and NTT DATA’s budget.
- Develop, manage, and report the CXC budget; maintain financial accountability for all programme expenditure. Maintain vendor contact relations and ensure payments as needed.
- Align and influence internal organisations and external alliances in support of the CXC strategy; coordinate with the senior executives, portfolios, sales leadership, and regional teams to ensure programme objectives are understood and achieved.
- Apply broad knowledge of NTT DATA’s portfolio and competitive environment to advise account teams on relevant topics, identify growth opportunities, and position briefings as a strategic business driver.
- Capture and report on engagement outcomes, KPIs, and client feedback; if required, present programme performance insights to senior leadership and drive continuous improvement across the CXC.
- Support executive communications, public relations/media and analyst relations programs as requested including internal townhalls, press interactions, speaking engagements, and industry events; build and maintain relationships with marketing leadership, executive administrators, and key external partners.

Knowledge and Attributes:
- Expert knowledge of executive briefing programme management and end-to-end event planning and execution, including logistics, vendor management, budget oversight, and client experience delivery.
- Strong knowledge of technology capabilities and services that allow for ease of understanding and applicability to NTT DATA’s portfolio, solutions, and competitive landscape, with the ability to position briefing content strategically for C-suite audiences.
- Excellent financial and business acumen; proven ability to manage programme budgets, propose forecasts, and identify cost efficiencies.
- Advanced organisational agility with the ability to engage credibly at all levels of NTT DATA and with senior external partners and customers.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills; ability to create executive-level messaging, facilitate high-stakes briefings, and coach others to deliver with impact.
- Advanced project management skills; proven ability to manage multiple complex, concurrent engagements and lead cross-functional teams to deliver on time and to standard.
- Strong people leadership capability; experienced in developing, mentoring, and holding teams and vendors accountable for results.
- Advanced knowledge of briefing management systems and CRM (Salesforce) platforms; Microsoft 365 including PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel.
- Committed to excellence in client experience; diplomatic, professionally composed under pressure, and skilled at navigating last-minute changes in complex, fast-moving environments.
- Highly proactive with the ability to work in high-pressure situations
- Demonstrates strong strategic thinking with the ability to develop a broad, enterprise-wide perspective.
- Thrives in highly matrixed environments by fostering collaboration, building consensus, and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Level 7 preferred.
- Certified Briefing Professional (CBP) or equivalent desirable.
- Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is advantageous. Event management certification (e.g., Certified Meeting Professional, CMP) is advantageous.

Required Experience:
- Typically requires 10-12 years of relevant marketing, executive engagement, or briefing centre experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior individual and/or team lead experience.
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing executive-level events and customer engagements at scale.
- Proven track record engaging with and presenting to C-suite and senior executive audiences.
- Prior experience within a technology, professional services, or managed services environment strongly preferred.
- Experience managing programme budgets and vendor relationships in a complex, global organisation.
- Extended demonstrated experience with marketing software.
- Extended demonstrated experience with a wide variety of computer software, hardware, and peripherals, including Microsoft 365.
Languages:
- English, fluent (written and spoken) is required.
- Additional European languages (German, Italian, French, Spanish) are advantageous.
