🌟 Job Opportunity: Principal Materials Scientist 🌟

📍 Location: Rotherham / Brinsworth

💷 Salary: £60,000

🕒 38 hours per week + flexi-time

⏰ Start Date: ASAP

Join a growing manufacturing business as a Principal Materials Scientist, playing a key role within the R&D and Product Development team. This is a business-critical position focused on future products, materials and innovation.

🔬 About the Role:

  • Act as the technical authority across materials science, polymers and composites
  • Support new product and material development
  • Lead testing, material investigations and laboratory activities
  • Provide technical support to production, suppliers and R&D
  • Drive innovation and ensure regulatory compliance

🎯 What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or similar
  • Strong experience with polymers, composites or polymer chemistry
  • Around 7+ years' relevant experience
  • PhD desirable, but not essential
  • Strong scientific, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
