An established and profitable AdTech company is looking for a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to help lead the next phase of its machine learning evolution. With a global footprint across Europe, North America and Asia, the business uses AI to power highly targeted digital advertising, helping consumer brands acquire and re-engage users more effectively. Having achieved approximately 60% growth over the last two years, machine learning sits at the heart of both the product and commercial strategy. As Principal Machine Learning Engineer, you will define technical direction across machine learning whilst remaining deeply involved in platform engineering and model development. The role offers significant influence across high-scale production systems, business strategy and the future roadmap of the ML function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the technical roadmap for Machine Learning systems and infrastructure
- Develop and optimise recommendation, targeting, bidding and attribution models
- Lead improvements across MLOps, model monitoring and automated retraining
- Scale and enhance production-grade ML platforms and deployment pipelines
- Partner with engineering leadership to align AI strategy with commercial priorities
- Drive innovation across LTV modelling, churn prediction and audience optimisation
- Mentor senior engineers and influence technical decision-making across the organisation

Key Details:
- Salary Range: £128,000 / €150,000
- Working Model: Flexible remote working policy
- Tech Stack: Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, MLflow/Weights & Biases, Spark/Flink, ONNX, Triton, TorchServe, Ray Serve
