Harnham are working with a leading financial services consultancy to recruit a Principal into a high-performing Credit Risk & Analytics practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit risk professional to lead major client engagements while playing a key role in team development and business growth.

The Role

This is a senior leadership role focused on delivering complex credit risk and analytics projects while supporting the growth and development of the wider practice. You will oversee multiple client engagements, lead teams of analysts and consultants, and provide expert guidance across a range of analytical and strategic initiatives.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in:

  • Leading the delivery of multiple credit risk and analytics projects from initiation to completion.
  • Managing and developing teams of analysts while ensuring high-quality project delivery.
  • Working across credit strategy, portfolio analytics, forecasting, modelling and customer behaviour analysis.
  • Contributing hands-on analytical expertise where required.
  • Supporting business development activities, project scoping and client engagement.

Skills and Experience

The successful Principal must have the following skills and experience:

  • 7+ years of experience within Credit Risk Analytics.
  • Strong experience developing credit strategies and building analytical models, such as scorecards or forecasting models.
  • Experience managing analytical projects and mentoring junior team members.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong coding capability using Python, SAS or SQL.
  • Degree educated in a quantitative discipline.

Benefits

The successful Principal will receive a salary up to £120,000.
