About Project Yananai

Project Yananai is a global non-profit headquartered in the United Kingdom, with Affiliate Entities and Management Teams in India, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Our mission is to inspire and empower individuals and communities by fostering enduring relationships, enhancing sustainable skills, and delivering compassionate humanitarian aid. We are dedicated to nurturing resilient societies that are self-sufficient and equipped to break cycles of poverty.

Build something from the ground up that connects the UK to global impact.

Project Yananai is looking for an entrepreneurial and highly connected leader to build and lead our UK Operations function. This is a new senior leadership role with the opportunity to shape how our UK network, partnerships, funding and expertise directly support our programmes across India, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

You’ll work closely with the CEO and Deputy CEO to turn ambitious ideas into practical, sustainable programmes.

What you’ll do

  • Build Yananai’s UK operations, partnerships and delivery model from the ground up.
  • Develop our UK Volunteering Access Portal, connecting universities, professionals, trainers and skilled volunteers with our Community Learning Hubs overseas.
  • Lead the development of UK AI InfoHubs, creating accessible opportunities for communities to develop AI awareness, literacy and skills.
  • Build relationships with government, universities, businesses, foundations, charities and community organisations.
  • Identify and secure funding through grants, foundations, corporate partnerships and philanthropy.
  • Develop compelling proposals, business cases and partnership opportunities.
  • Build a lean, high-performing team as the UK operation grows.
  • Establish robust governance, safeguarding, risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Represent Project Yananai externally and help position the organisation within UK and international networks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
