Overview
Do you enjoy solving complex problems in safety-critical industries? Join us as a Senior / Principal Structural Integrity Safety Case Engineer, where you'll help assess risks for nuclear clients and support low-carbon energy goals, as part of a strong and experienced structural integrity team.
Your role
- You will lead teams and create engineering justifications or safety cases that support key decisions in nuclear projects.
- You will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, including operating power stations, new build projects, and emerging technologies.
- You will solve technical challenges and clearly present your solutions to different stakeholders, including clients and regulators.
- You will deliver high-quality work, keeping both technical detail and strategic delivery in mind.
- You will collaborate with experts across the business and support the development of junior engineers.
- You will work in a flexible and inclusive environment that supports different working styles and backgrounds.
- You can be based in offices across the UK, including Bristol, Manchester, Epsom, Derby, Sheffield, and Glasgow.
- The role offers a competitive salary starting from £50,000+, along with performance-based rewards.
About You
- You have experience in structural integrity, safety case development, or a related engineering field.
- You are confident solving complex technical problems and making sound engineering judgement.
- You can communicate clearly with different stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
- You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
- You have strong attention to detail while also understanding the bigger picture.
- You are motivated to learn, grow, and support others in their development.
