Shape the Future of Supply Chain Transformation
This is your opportunity to move beyond solution delivery and become a trusted advisor to some of the UK's most ambitious organisations.
As a Principal Oracle SCM Solution Architect, you will help senior business and technology leaders solve complex supply chain challenges, define enterprise-wide Oracle Cloud strategies, and make critical transformation decisions that deliver measurable business value.
Working across large-scale Oracle Cloud programmes, you'll combine deep supply chain expertise, strategic consulting capability, and architectural leadership to guide organisations through some of their most important transformation initiatives.
You'll join one of the market's leading Oracle practices, where your influence will extend beyond client engagements to shape our Oracle SCM capability, mentor future leaders, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Oracle Supply Chain architect who can operate confidently at executive level and translate complex business challenges into practical Oracle-enabled solutions.
This is not a hands-on configuration role. It is a senior advisory position for someone who can:
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Define strategic Oracle Cloud roadmaps and target-state architectures.
- Lead enterprise-wide solution design and transformation discussions.
- Navigate ambiguity and provide clarity in complex environments.
- Guide programmes through critical architectural and business decisions.
- Balance business priorities, regulatory requirements, delivery realities, and technology innovation.
You'll become a trusted partner to CIOs, Supply Chain Directors, Transformation Leaders, and Programme Sponsors, helping organisations maximise the value of their Oracle investments.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Solution Leadership
- Lead Oracle SCM solution architecture across transformation, optimisation, and cloud adoption programmes.
- Advise clients on operating models, supply chain processes, and Oracle Cloud strategy.
- Facilitate executive workshops, discovery sessions, design authorities, and roadmap planning activities.
- Develop high-quality architecture artefacts, including:
- Solution options and recommendations
- Transformation roadmaps
- Target operating model inputs
- Business capability assessments
- Cross-functional impact analyses
- Shape end-to-end Oracle solutions spanning Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Planning, Product Management, Data, Reporting, and Integration.

Architecture Governance & Delivery Oversight
- Provide architectural leadership throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Assess design decisions, risks, dependencies, and implementation impacts across multiple workstreams.
- Support governance forums, steering committees, and executive stakeholder reviews.
- Help resolve complex process, integration, data, and solution challenges while maintaining architectural integrity.
Business Growth & Strategic Consulting
- Support pre-sales activities, solution shaping, client workshops, and bid responses.
- Translate business challenges into compelling Oracle-enabled transformation propositions.
- Identify opportunities for account growth, value realisation, and broader transformation initiatives.
- Build lasting relationships with senior client stakeholders and position yourself as a trusted advisor.
Practice Leadership
- Mentor consultants, architects, and future solution leaders.
- Contribute to best practices, reusable assets, and architectural frameworks.
- Help strengthen and evolve Version 1's Oracle SCM capability and market presence.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Oracle SCM Expertise
Role
You'll bring extensive experience delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM solutions in senior architecture, consulting, or programme leadership roles, with expertise across areas such as:
- Manufacturing (including Contract Manufacturing)
- Inventory Management
- Cost Management
- Supply Chain Planning
- Product Management
- Order Management
- Supply Chain Execution
You'll understand how Oracle Cloud enables end-to-end supply chain transformation and be able to connect business strategy with technology outcomes.
Enterprise Architecture & Integration
You'll have experience designing enterprise solutions that integrate Oracle SCM with wider business platforms, including Procurement, Finance, HCM, EPM, Analytics, and Reporting.
You'll Also Have Knowledge Of
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- APIs and Web Services
- OTBI
- BI Publisher
- Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
- Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI)
Executive Stakeholder Engagement
You'll Have a Proven Track Record Of
- Influencing senior business and technology leaders.
- Presenting recommendations and strategic options to executive audiences.
- Facilitating complex discussions and driving decision-making.
- Acting as the senior client-facing architect on large-scale transformation programmes.
Commercial Mindset
We're looking for someone with strong consulting, problem-solving, and commercial skills who can balance business value, delivery realities, and architectural best practice.
