We’re looking for a Principal Placement Analyst (Finance) to support the analysis of adult social care placements, helping shape how services are planned, delivered and funded.

You’ll turn complex data into clear insight—supporting decisions across commissioning, finance, brokerage and operational teams. This includes forecasting demand and spend, analysing unit costs, and developing dashboards and reports that drive better value and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead reporting and forecasting of placements spend and demand
  • Analyse unit costs and support fee negotiations
  • Provide insight to support value-for-money
  • Support financial assurance, audit and performance reporting
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and analytical tools

About You

  • Strong experience in finance or analytics, ideally in Adult Social Care
  • Professional qualification or equivalent experience
  • Confident working with complex data and influencing decisions
  • Strong Excel/Power BI skills
