Principal Process Engineer

This is an opportunity for an experienced Principal Process Engineer to play a leading role in the design and delivery of some of the world's most complex and high-profile mission-critical facilities.

This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys balancing hands-on technical involvement with strategic influence, working alongside industry-leading specialists on projects where engineering excellence is fundamental to operational performance.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the development and delivery of process engineering solutions across complex engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical oversight, assurance and review of process engineering designs, calculations, specifications and reports.
- Act as a key technical advisor to project teams, clients and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
- Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, civil, structural and digital engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Identify project risks, technical challenges and opportunities for optimisation, providing practical and commercially effective solutions.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of engineering standards, design methodologies and best practices.
- Mentor and guide engineers within the team, contributing to technical growth and knowledge sharing across the business.
Essential Skills
- Strong process engineering experience gained within complex industrial, infrastructure, energy, pharmaceutical, water, manufacturing or mission-critical environments.
- Proven ability to lead process engineering design activities and provide technical assurance on multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong understanding of process design principles, system integration, operational performance and engineering risk management.
- Experience engaging with clients, contractors and project stakeholders, providing confident technical guidance and leadership.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions across multidisciplinary teams.
- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
