We're a hybrid business, which means you'll have flexibility alongside time together with your team. In this role, you can expect 2 days per week in our Leicester or London office, helping you stay connected, collaborate and do your best work for our customers

Our Data & Analytics teams are a core capability underpinning every decision we make and action we take; supporting the creation of seamless customer experiences, empowering colleagues and driving growth through scaled delivery, innovation and technical excellence through Data Products & Analytical insight. You will be leading a talented team of Data Product professionals that are responsible for delivering value through internal colleague propositions and enabling opportunities through the implementation of data products.

What you'll be doing

Our goal is to enable colleagues to make data informed decisions more efficiently through self-serve propositions and data fluency initiatives while supporting foundational data enablement across commercial, supply-chain, store and customer verticals. This is a wide-ranging remit, covering our ‘Self-Serve Analytics’ and ‘Data Enablement’ workstreams – both critical to our future success as a retailer. It is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing Focus Area, and you will be a key member of the senior Dunelm Product Delivery team, reporting to the Head of Data Management & Data Product. You will be accountable for translating our Data & Analytics strategy, business objectives and domain priorities into a coherent and executable portfolio of delivery initiatives. You will lead portfolio governance, prioritisation, dependency management and capability development across a technology domain, ensuring Product Delivery Managers and delivery teams can successfully realise intended outcomes.

As a senior leader, the role is expected to role model Dunelm's Leadership Behaviours, creating a customer-focused, high-performing and adaptable culture that enables business and people growth.

What we'll look for in you

  • Strong leadership experience within Data, Product, Technology, Programme or Delivery functions.
  • Proven track record of leading complex Data & technology delivery and transformation programmes at scale.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Product and Delivery practices.
  • Experience translating data strategy and roadmaps into successful delivery outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success building high-performing teams and developing future leaders.
  • Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience leading transformational change, organisational improvement and productivity initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk management, organisational resilience and technology security principles.
  • Strong understanding of emerging data product capabilities, including AI and agentic, and opportunities for embedding a more mature data culture in the organisation through delivery of valuable data products
  • Well versed in use and application of modern Data Platforms and AI capabilities.
