Principal Product Designer

🌍 Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)

🔑 About The Job

We're looking for an exceptional Principal Product Designer to define the next chapter of product design at Omaze.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone with an outstanding visual design craft. You'll set the creative standard across our digital products, shaping experiences that are as emotionally engaging as they are beautifully executed.

You'll own the visual and UI direction across our product ecosystem, partnering closely with Product, Engineering and Brand to create experiences that delight millions of customers while strengthening the Omaze brand.

Just as importantly, you'll be comfortable influencing at the highest levels of the business. Whether presenting concepts to senior leadership, aligning stakeholders around a bold design vision or collaborating with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect execution, you'll combine exceptional craft with strategic influence.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define and own the visual design direction across Omaze's digital products, establishing a world-class standard for UI craft.
  • Lead the design of our most strategic and high-impact customer experiences, from early concept through to polished delivery.
  • Partner with senior leaders and C-suite stakeholders to shape and champion a cohesive product and visual vision.
  • Create beautiful, intuitive and accessible customer experiences that strengthen both the product and the Omaze brand.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Brand Designers to deliver exceptional end-to-end experiences.
  • Raise the bar across the Product Design team through mentoring, design critiques and leading by example.
  • Ensure every experience is executed to the highest quality, working alongside Engineering to deliver pixel-perfect implementation.
  • Use customer insight, experimentation and data alongside compelling storytelling to influence design decisions and strategic direction.
  • Champion design excellence across the organisation, helping embed customer-centred thinking into everything we build.

You'll be an experienced Principal Product Designer with a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual craft and an eye for detail that's impossible to ignore.

You'll bring:

  • Extensive experience designing world-class consumer digital products.
  • An exceptional portfolio showcasing outstanding visual design, interaction design and UI craftsmanship.
  • A proven ability to define and evolve visual systems, product aesthetics and design quality across an organisation.
  • Experience influencing senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders, building confidence around ambitious creative direction.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, using design, customer insight and data to bring ideas to life.
  • Strong experience collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Deep expertise in Figma and modern design systems.
  • A passion for mentoring others and raising the quality of design across a team.
  • A growth mindset, curiosity and a desire to continually improve both your own craft and those around you.
