Principal Product Designer: AI & Agentic Workflows

Remote-first in the UK.

The company

We’re partnering with a 250-person SaaS scale-up that has rebuilt its product around AI. Its agent is already live with customers and AI is now the company’s core product strategy - not an additional feature.

The role

Reporting directly to the VP of Product, the Principal Product Designer will become the design counterpart to the engineering architect - defining how agentic workflows and traditional SaaS interfaces come together as one coherent product.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is a hands-on player–coach role with the influence of an early-stage design leader, backed by the customers and resources of an established scale-up. You’ll set the design direction, support a team of five designers and personally lead the hardest product challenges.

You'll

  • Define the interaction architecture and design patterns across the product
  • Design the most complex experiences yourself, prototyping and shipping in code (Claude Code, Cursor)
  • Lead critique and raise the bar for a team of five designers
  • Partner with Product, Engineering and leadership on direction
