This is more than a job. It’s a chance to build, grow, and make a real impact!
Join our team as our new Principal Product Manager, Amplify Fusion.
Amplify Fusion is the integration and API engine at the center of the Amplify platform — and increasingly, the orchestration layer for enterprise AI. It's where organizations build integrations, design and expose APIs, manage AI agent interactions, and apply governance controls to AI usage, all on a single cloud-native runtime.
This is a fast-moving product with a continuous release cadence, a demanding enterprise customer base, and multiple workstreams running in parallel across integration, API design, AI orchestration, and platform operations. We need a product leader who thrives in that environment — someone who can hold the full picture together, keep dozens of moving parts aligned, and drive Fusion's next chapter at the intersection of enterprise integration, API-first architecture, and AI operationalization. You'll define what we build, how we compete, and how we win.
Responsibilities:
- Set direction. Own the Fusion product strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes spanning integration, API design, and AI orchestration. Track the competitive landscape. Shape the product narrative for analysts, enterprise buyers, and the developer community.
- Ship product. Partner with Engineering, UX, and Architecture to maintain a prioritized backlog focused on the highest-leverage problems. Define release scope and drive go-to-market readiness — ensuring Product Marketing, Sales, and Support are enabled ahead of each launch. Make pragmatic build-vs-buy decisions and avoid reinventing the wheel when existing capabilities can be leveraged.
- Know the customer. Maintain direct relationships with strategic accounts. Conduct customer discovery to gather insights, validate hypotheses, and translate feedback into product direction. Represent Fusion externally at analyst briefings, advisory boards, and conferences. Collaborate with adjacent product leaders (AI Gateway, Engage) on cross-platform capabilities spanning AI governance, API discovery, and monetization.
Required qualifications:
- You have 7+ years of progressive experience in product management, solution management, or technical product leadership for enterprise software platforms. You've owned products end-to-end — from strategy through delivery — and have a track record of shipping capabilities that drive measurable customer and business outcomes.
- You bring deep domain expertise in at least two of the following: API management, enterprise integration or iPaaS, microservices architecture, AI/ML platforms, or developer tooling. You understand the buyer problems, competitive dynamics, and market trends in these spaces, not just the technology.
- You've shipped platform products in complex environments — navigating multi-team dependencies, enterprise release cycles, build-vs-buy tradeoffs, and the tension between platform investment and product-level delivery. You know how to make hard prioritization calls and can clearly explain the rationale behind them.
- You operate fluidly at both the strategic level (market positioning, 18-month vision, analyst narratives) and the tactical level (sprint priorities, acceptance criteria, design reviews, and release sign-off). You don't just set direction — you stay close enough to execution to catch problems early.
- You have strong technical fluency. You can engage meaningfully in discussions about protocol choices (REST vs. gRPC vs. event-driven), security models (OAuth, mTLS, token introspection), cloud-native architecture (Kubernetes, data planes, hybrid deployment), and AI orchestration patterns — without needing a translator between you and engineering.
- You communicate with clarity and precision across audiences. You can write a compelling analyst narrative, a tight engineering spec, and a persuasive customer-facing pitch — and know which one each situation demands. You're effective in writing, in presentation, and in cross-functional negotiation with distributed teams.
- You use data to drive decisions. You're comfortable defining success metrics (adoption, activation, retention, NPS), instrumenting products to capture them, and using quantitative and qualitative evidence to inform roadmap priorities rather than relying on intuition or loudest-voice dynamics.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Preferred qualifications
- Direct experience with competitive platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Kong, webMethods, TIBCO, Apigee, or similar) — whether as a practitioner, implementer, or in a product leadership capacity within the integration and API management space.
- Experience with AI productization: model governance, agent orchestration, Model Context Protocol (MCP), LLM guardrails, or AI-powered product capabilities. You understand what it takes to bring AI features from prototype to enterprise-grade.
- Background in cloud-native platforms and operations — Kubernetes, Helm, hybrid/multi-cloud deployments, data plane architecture, and zero-downtime upgrade patterns.
- Prior hands-on technical experience as an architect, software engineer, or presales/solutions engineer before transitioning into product management. You've been on the other side of the PRD and it shows in how you collaborate with engineering.
- Understanding of enterprise buying dynamics: multi-stakeholder sales cycles, compliance-driven procurement, platform consolidation motives, and how product decisions connect to revenue outcomes.
- Experience working with analyst firms (Gartner, Forrester, IDC) — participating in evaluations, briefings, and using analyst insights to inform product positioning.
