Wise – Product Manager, Send Activation Team (AI & Conversational Banking)
Company Description
Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Min fees. Max ease. Full speed. Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.
As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world’s money. For everyone, everywhere. [More about our mission and what we offer.]
Job Description
Join us to solve one of the biggest growth opportunities at Wise: shaping how millions of prospective new customers around the world complete their first transfer to move money across borders, via personalized AI Assistant and tailored experiences in each route.
Today, many of our customers try cross-border transfers for the first time in their life. They need superior value in price and speed for their specific route, a seamless experience that turns an unfamiliar process into something so effortless, personalized, and locally relevant that choosing any other provider becomes unthinkable.
You’ll eliminate these barriers by leading:
-
Wise AI Assistant
- Shape and scale our AI-powered concierge, which provides personalized, contextual guidance during the first transfer — and beyond.
- Spearhead new, innovative experiences that replace traditional UX screens with agentic conversational banking.
-
Tailored Experiences Route-by-Route
- Create a systematic approach to harvest insights from the assistant and mobilise the organisation to win new customers by tailoring the product offering and experiences route by route (e.g., GBP → EUR).
- Work closely with regional, pricing, and payment operations teams.
About the Team
The Send Activation team consists of world-class engineers, designers, analysts, and researchers working across our offices in London and Budapest. Success is measured by:
- New customer send flow conversion rate
- Monthly new cross-currency send customers
- New customer contact rate
- Customer effort score
Key Responsibilities
You will be:
- Owning two interconnected high-impact areas simultaneously:
- Driving AI Assistant with agentic concierge guidance (chat-to-conversational transfer setup).
- Advancing route-by-route activation strategy, finding synergies between conversational AI insights and product improvements.
- Shaping Wise’s conversational AI banking future:
- Defining the path to a smarter, more agentic concierge that evolves beyond the Wise App, integrating MCP (mobile/other platforms).
- Building scalable systems for global impact:
- Creating frameworks that empower regional teams to win independently and adapt to local needs.
- Driving customer activation through insights:
- Using conversion funnels, AI-generated data, competitor benchmarks, and A/B testing to unlock opportunities at regional and global levels.
- Collaborating across Wise:
- Coordinating with Platform teams (AI infrastructure), regional teams (execution), compliance (governance), and engineering vendors (agentic AI technology).
- Managing stakeholders effectively:
- Using data, customer insights, and product sense to guide decisions, ensuring priorities are clear and rooted in evidence—not opinions.
- Leading without formal authority:
- Empowering world-class designers, developers, and analysts to foster a culture of excellence and rapid, high-impact shipping.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
