We design Spotify’s consumer experience—end to end, moment to moment, across every screen, platform, and partner integration. Our mission is to make listening and watching feel effortless, personal, and joyful for hundreds of millions of users around the world. That means turning complexity into clarity across hundreds of touchpoints. If it touches a consumer, we shape it. We bring deep insight into human behavior, design, and technology to craft experiences that feel intuitive, expressive, and unmistakably Spotify.

We’re seeking a Principal Product Manager to help lead the consumer experience across Spotify’s formats, including books, podcasts, and music. Format Foundations partners with the business teams behind each format to lead innovation in how users discover, engage with, and build lasting relationships with content on Spotify. You’ll set the product vision and strategy for your area and shape feature portfolios across formats. This role sits within Format Foundations in Core Experience, partnering closely with these teams to grow their businesses through product innovation.

What You'll Do

  • Lead product vision and strategy across Spotify’s formats, shaping how books, podcasts, and music become more engaging, lovable, and valuable for users, creators, and the business.
  • Define and evolve the user experience across the content journey—from discovery and evaluation through engagement, library management, and retention.
  • Partner closely with business leaders across books, podcasts, and music to translate business strategy into product innovation that drives growth.
  • Drive innovation across multimodal and cross-format experiences, such as the intersection of listening and reading, and build capabilities that can scale from one format to others.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, data, and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality experiences.
  • Use data, experimentation, and user insights to inform decisions and continuously improve the experience.
  • Align senior stakeholders across Core Experience, the business teams, and Personalization to create a cohesive consumer experience.
  • Lead multiple cross-functional initiatives end to end, owning scope and alignment and partnering with engineering on delivery.
  • Mentor product managers and raise the bar for product craft across the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
