We are excited about the opportunity to mix Red Badger’s entrepreneurial, startup thinking with the resources of global organisations to unlock speed to impact in launching new propositions.

As a Principal Consultant, you’ll provide end-to-end Product leadership, co-creating and validating the product desirability, owning the backlog and connecting the business strategy with end-user value. When part of a starter team you’ll be able to work hands-on, researching, validating, designing, building and launching successful new digital products and services. As products grow you’ll be responsible for leading and inspiring cross-functional teams to deliver successful product outcomes for our clients and their end-users. You are delighted to show best practices of Human-Centred Design, Lean-Startup and Agile through the work you do and continuously accelerate the speed and quality of our learning.

You will be able to support and grow Red Badger’s wider Product capability and team including Product managers, Product designer, working with Directors and leadership to shape our strategy. You’ll be willing to share your expertise and experiences both internally and externally, actively participating in product communities outside of Red Badger.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Confident as a Product Owner, with the ability to identify and prioritise user value, carefully balancing business and user needs to create and launch successful products and ongoing iterations.
  • Leverage your Product expertise to help clients make difficult tradeoffs with confidence and deliver value to users in the shortest time frame.
  • Able to take clients and multi-disciplinary teams on the Product journey with you, and inspire them to build cutting-edge products and services.
  • Champion the Product discipline in complex innovation territories and organisations.
  • Be a passionate advocate for Product Management, Human-Centred Design, and Lean Startup.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
