This is an office-based position.

Responsibilities

  • Program Planning: Develop and manage program plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets for multiple projects across product lines or when customer has multiple implementations and Project Managers. Review and approve estimates, Statements of Work (SOW) and Change Requests.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure program alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities. Maintain executive relationships with customers. Partner with Sales for strategic account planning.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources across projects within the program to ensure optimal use of skills and capabilities. Liaise with department peers to support customer impacting initiatives (e.g. R&D, Product, Net Ops, Support).
  • Quality Assurance: Support and drive measurable quality improvements within projects and programs.
  • Change Management: Facilitate change management efforts, negotiate impacts to timeline and deliveries. Larger scale understanding of impact of change and risk management.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and assess program risks and issues, prioritizing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage program budgets, ensuring that expenses are kept within bill rates and margins. Create and manage billing activities. Participate in Program Planning discussions with customer to forecast future revenue. Monitor and report on bill rate and expected profit margins within a program.
  • Governance & Reporting: Participate in or lead monthly governance meeting. Advise leadership and/or business executives at the highest level about the PS program portfolio, status and resource planning.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and develop less experienced Project Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Program Management: Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with project dependencies and strategic business/customer goals.
  • Project Management Tools: Expert-level proficiency in JIRA, Projector, and Microsoft Office Suite, with in-depth knowledge of configuring and customizing tools for optimizing workflows, reporting, and team collaboration.
  • Expert Understanding of SDLC: Expert understanding of SDLC phases, including advanced knowledge of Agile frameworks. Ability to further define and collaborate SDLC innovation across the organization.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Expert-level proficiency in analyzing project performance metrics. Skilled in translating data trends into strategic business actions and advising stakeholders on risk mitigation and project optimization.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Ability to solve complex technical and organizational problems, focusing on the impact on the customer. Proactive in sharing information and escalation of potential larger scale issues within the organization often resulting in innovative solutions.
  • Advanced Budget and Financial Management: Proficient in managing large-scale, cross-functional project budgets with significant complexity and financial impact.
  • Risk Forecasting: Advanced expertise in forecasting project risks, resource needs, and timelines. Ability to use advanced metrics and historical data to anticipate potential challenges and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies, driving better project outcomes.
  • Change Management: Expertise in managing multiple projects and change initiatives, including the technical implications of organizational or customer transformations. Ability to apply organizational concepts for best practices within the program.
