Job Description:
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC registered Principle Psychologist to work within a specialist inpatients service in Hertfordshire who have an overall CQC rating of “Good.”
Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT working across acute and psychiatric intensive care, secure services (low and medium) and a community focused rehabilitation ward. The post holder will lead the Psychological care across designated wards. They conduct psychological assessments and tailor therapeutic intervention plans. The post holder will also have supervision responsibilities and will support psychology staff, trainees, and students.

Contract type – permanent, part-time
Hours – full time but part time applications will be accepted
Salary - £61,492
Experience required:
Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist along with previous experience working with complex mental health in settings such as inpatient wards, rehabs, acute or high- risk services.
