Principal Public Health Engineer | London | Mission Critical & Data Centres
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Public Health Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy delivering large-scale mission-critical and data centre projects across the UK and internationally.
The Role
- Lead the design and delivery of Public Health systems on large-scale mission-critical and data centre projects.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple projects.
- Develop innovative, resilient, and sustainable engineering solutions.
- Manage project resources, programmes, and budgets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Mentor and support the development of junior engineers.
- Contribute to business development activities and project-winning initiatives.
- Drive technical excellence and quality across project delivery.

About You
- Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Extensive Public Health design experience within a building services consultancy environment.
- Proven track record delivering complex engineering projects.
- Strong technical, project management, and leadership skills.
- Confident working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Chartered Engineer status, or working towards Chartership, is highly desirable.
- Experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities, healthcare, aviation, or other technically complex sectors would be advantageous.
