Principal Public Health Engineer | London | Mission Critical & Data Centres

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Public Health Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy delivering large-scale mission-critical and data centre projects across the UK and internationally.

The Role

  • Lead the design and delivery of Public Health systems on large-scale mission-critical and data centre projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple projects.
  • Develop innovative, resilient, and sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Manage project resources, programmes, and budgets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior engineers.
  • Contribute to business development activities and project-winning initiatives.
  • Drive technical excellence and quality across project delivery.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Extensive Public Health design experience within a building services consultancy environment.
  • Proven track record delivering complex engineering projects.
  • Strong technical, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Confident working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Chartered Engineer status, or working towards Chartership, is highly desirable.
  • Experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities, healthcare, aviation, or other technically complex sectors would be advantageous.
