Principal Public Health Engineer | London | Mission Critical & Data Centres

Are you a Principal Public Health Engineer looking to play a key role in delivering some of the world's most advanced mission-critical facilities?

As the Principal Public Health Engineer, you'll be working with the leading engineering consultancy in the UK in the building services industry, renowned for its expertise in data centres, mission-critical environments, and technically complex infrastructure projects.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Principal Public Health Engineer to join their London team.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of major projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, and influence the delivery of cutting-edge developments across the UK and globally.

The Role

  • Lead the Public Health design and delivery of large-scale mission-critical projects.
  • Act as a technical authority and provide guidance across multiple projects and sectors.
  • Develop innovative and resilient Public Health engineering solutions.
  • Manage project resources, budgets, and programme delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Mentor and develop engineers within the business.
  • Support business development activities and contribute to winning new work.
  • Drive technical excellence and quality throughout project delivery.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience within a building services consultancy environment.
  • Strong Public Health design expertise across complex or critical facilities.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.
  • Excellent client-facing and leadership skills.
  • Chartered Engineer status, or working towards chartership, is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities, healthcare, aviation, or other complex infrastructure sectors would be advantageous.
