Principal Recruitment Consultant
Location: City of London, Liverpool Street / Moorgate Working pattern: Fully onsite, five days per week
As InterEx Group continues to grow, we are looking for experienced Principal Recruitment Consultants to join our high-performing team based in Moorgate.
This is an opportunity for an established recruiter looking to take greater ownership of their desk, develop key client relationships, and play a leading role within a growing recruitment business.
The Role
As a Principal Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of your market, driving new business, managing key client relationships, and delivering specialist technology recruitment solutions.
Business Development
- Develop and grow new and existing client relationships
- Identify new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and market research
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and hiring managers
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiate fees, and manage client accounts
- Develop and grow a strong, sustainable client base

Candidate Management
- Build and maintain a strong network of specialist technology professionals
- Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and internal tools
- Conduct interviews and qualification calls to assess candidate suitability
- Manage candidates throughout the full recruitment process, from initial contact through to placement
- Develop long-term relationships with candidates within your specialist market
Delivery & Performance
- Take full ownership of your desk, revenue, and market
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual billing and performance targets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records
- Stay informed on market trends, hiring demand, and competitor activity
- Support and share knowledge with junior members of the team where required
What We’re Looking For
- Strong recruitment experience, ideally within technology recruitment
- Proven track record of consistent billing success
- Strong business development and client management experience
- Confident negotiating fees and managing commercial relationships
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Driven, resilient, commercially minded, and ambitious
- Ability to take ownership and operate independently
- Desire to progress within a high-growth recruitment business
