Principal Recruitment Consultant – Buildings & Real Estate

At Rotate Recruitment, we’re continuing to grow our Buildings & Real Estate division and are looking for an experienced, driven and commercially minded Principal Recruitment Consultant to join the team.

Ideally, you’ll have experience recruiting within Quantity Surveying or Project Management, although we’ll consider strong consultants from across the wider real estate and built environment sectors.

You’ll work closely with experienced Directors who have built long-standing relationships across the property and construction consultancy market, giving you the platform, support and credibility to develop your own desk, client base and revenue.

Base salary DOE + Uncapped Commission
Year 1 OTE: £75,000 – £105,000+
We partner with some of the UK’s most recognised names, including Savills, Ridge and Cushman & Wakefield, alongside a wider network of leading consultancies.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing a 360 recruitment desk across the Buildings & Real Estate market.
  • Developing existing client relationships and winning new business.
  • Recruiting senior professionals across Quantity Surveying, Project Management and wider real estate disciplines.
  • Managing the full recruitment process from initial approach through to placement and aftercare.
  • Building your own network of clients and candidates within your chosen market.
  • Creating targeted campaigns and market-led recruitment strategies.
  • Contributing to the growth and direction of the wider division.
  • Supporting and mentoring more junior consultants where appropriate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
