Principal Recruitment Consultant
Food, Ingredients and Consumer Markets
Remote, UK
£45,000 to £55,000 plus uncapped quarterly commission up to 35%
If you’ve built a successful desk within food, ingredients or consumer recruitment and want greater ownership of your market, this could be worth a conversation.
I’m working with an established specialist recruitment business that partners with manufacturers, ingredients businesses and consumer brands across the UK and international markets.
They are interested in speaking with an experienced 360 recruiter who can strengthen the team, develop long-term client relationships and take ownership of a defined specialist market.
This is a selective appointment. They are looking for someone with a proven billing record, strong client relationships and the experience to manage their desk independently. In return, you’ll have the scope to continue developing within a market you know, supported by an experienced leadership team.

What they’re looking for
- A strong and consistent billing history.
- Experience across food, ingredients, FMCG, consumer, manufacturing or a closely related sector.
- A track record of winning and developing client relationships.
- The ability to manage a full 360 recruitment desk.
- Strong market knowledge and a clear idea of the desk you would want to develop.
- A credible, relationship-led approach to clients and candidates.
What’s on offer
- £45,000 to £55,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
- Remote working within the UK for the right person.
- Uncapped quarterly commission paying between 25% and 35%.
