At Rotate Recruitment, we're growing our specialist Fire Engineering & Building Safety division and are looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant or Principal Recruitment Consultant to join our growing UK team.

This is an opportunity to join an established specialist recruitment business with an already-active, warm desk. You won't be starting from scratch — we currently have 50+ live vacancies across the UK and 15 clients signed on PSL terms, giving you immediate access to a strong market, live opportunities, and genuine earning potential from day one.

You'll work closely with our Directors and existing specialist recruiters, recruiting across the UK's Fire Engineering, Fire Safety, and Building Safety markets.

The Opportunity

We're looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years' recruitment experience who is ready to take their career to the next level.

  • You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of an established desk.
  • Develop existing client relationships.

  • Build your own reputation within a highly specialist market.

You'll be joining a growing team where there is significant opportunity for progression as the division continues to expand.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage and develop an established Fire Engineering & Building Safety recruitment desk.
  • Work across a live portfolio of 50+ vacancies with established UK clients.
  • Recruit Fire Engineers, Fire Safety Consultants, Fire Risk Assessors, and Building Safety professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients.
  • Manage the full 360 recruitment process from business development through to placement.
  • Develop existing PSL relationships and identify opportunities for further growth.
  • Generate new business and develop your own client portfolio.
  • Become a recognised specialist within the UK Fire Engineering & Building Safety market.
  • Support and mentor more junior members of the team as you progress.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an established recruiter who wants more opportunity, better earning potential, and the chance to build something within a growing specialist division.

You should have:

  • Minimum 2 years' recruitment experience.
  • Experience working within a 360 recruitment environment.
  • A proven track record of making placements and generating revenue.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial confidence and a genuine desire to earn.
  • The ability to develop both candidate and client relationships.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach to recruitment.
  • Strong organisation and pipeline management skills.
  • The ambition to progress towards Principal Consultant, Lead, or Management level.
  • A genuine interest in developing specialist market knowledge.

Experience within Construction, Property, Engineering, Building Consultancy, Fire Engineering, or another specialist technical recruitment market would be highly advantageous.
