Principal Recruitment Consultant – Renewable Energy | Spanish Speaking

Founded in London in 2010, The Green Recruitment Company (TGRC) is a global specialist recruitment business focused on renewable energy, energy transition, infrastructure and clean technology. With an international presence across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa, we partner with leading businesses across the global energy transition.

As part of our continued European growth, we are looking for an experienced, Spanish-speaking Principal Recruitment Consultant to join our London team.

This is a 360 recruitment role with a strong focus on business development, suited to an established recruiter who is confident winning new clients, developing existing accounts and managing senior recruitment mandates from initial business development through to placement.

The successful individual will have the opportunity to build and manage a portfolio of clients across Spain and wider Spanish-speaking energy markets, working with businesses operating across renewable energy, power, grid infrastructure, energy markets and the wider energy transition.

You will be expected to operate commercially and autonomously, developing new relationships while leveraging TGRC's established international network, market reputation and client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full 360 recruitment lifecycle, from business development and client acquisition through to candidate delivery and placement
  • Develop new business across Spanish-speaking renewable energy and energy transition markets
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, hiring managers and decision-makers
  • Identify and win new recruitment opportunities through proactive business development, networking, referrals and market mapping
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts, identifying opportunities to increase share of wallet
  • Source, engage and headhunt mid-to-senior level professionals across specialist energy markets
  • Lead recruitment assignments from initial briefing through to offer negotiation and successful placement
  • Provide clients with market intelligence, salary insight and advice on talent availability
  • Build and maintain a strong network of candidates and industry professionals across Spain and wider European markets
  • Develop sector and market maps to identify target companies, talent pools and new business opportunities
  • Attend industry conferences, networking events and client meetings to develop relationships and strengthen TGRC's market presence
  • Negotiate commercial terms, salaries and offers with clients and candidates
  • Work collaboratively with TGRC's wider European and international teams to develop cross-border opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
