About the Company
A global pharmaceutical organisation are seeking a Principal Scientist to join their analytical development team in a state-of-the-art facility supporting cutting-edge API development.

About the Role
The Principal Scientist will play a key role in leading analytical development efforts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results through innovative strategies and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support drug substance process research and development.
- Develop and implement innovative analytical strategies to enhance operational efficiency and deliver high-quality results.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies specific to analytical methodologies and practices.
- Provide scientific leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Analyse complex datasets and generate comprehensive reports to support decision-making processes.
- Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and process improvement within the analytical sciences space.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Principal Scientist or in a similar scientific role, demonstrating a strong track record of success in analytical sciences.
- Strong expertise in analytical techniques, problem-solving, and method development.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to independently manage complex projects and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in advanced analytical tools and relevant software.
- A degree (PhD preferred) in chemistry, biochemistry, analytical sciences, or a related field is required.
